Once again the northern princess has found frustration and happiness among the land of technology. Not only did her student mess up big time and not turn in their assignments, they blamed it all on D2L which the northern princess knows was working cause she used it. But oh well, they get one strike.
The northern princess did not sleep well last night, all the thinking about teaching this week and about the crazy weekend kept her up all night. Finally at 6:30 the northern princess said "dammit, I need to sleep. I have to be on campus for 12 hours tomorrow." and magically she fell into a decent 2 hour nap. Unfortunately, the northern princess is not getting to bed much earlier this evening cause she is working on her lesson plans and trying to find ways to make the student not hate her, pay attention when she is giving assignments and make them understand that she will not be anyone mom this year and they all need to be adults for once.
But that is only part of it. The northern princess got herself and iPod last week from Dr. T. And she didn't have the software to get it to work, never mind that her software was so outdated that it wouldn't transfer anything anymore, anyways, the northern princess worked her magic and got an XP upgrade for cheap and now the northern princess is loading her iPod with her fav. music. Her new friend is blue and is needing suggestions for name, if anyone has suggestions, please tell the northern princess cause iPod really does want a name...
Well this princess needs to catch up on her beauty rest so she will go into the magical land of her room and get the required 5 hours of sleep, its 5 cause even though she is a princess she is still a student and 5 hours is all she can spare to sleeping. Have beautiful magical dreams everyone.
