Update on life.

Here is what has been going on...
-Back from NFA, slept a lot
-Only 2 weeks left of school
-Played in the cities all weekend
-Got Super Cute new shoes, pink faux alegator with a silver buckle
-Almost finished with my Methods paper, hopefully done this evening
-Stressed about summer jobs and classes

And thats about it. Post more later.

Oh, yeah, recieved a phone call today that began with, "So, I have your panties..." that was weird.

NFA Post.

So I am here in beautiful Eau Claire, WI for NFA. So far things are going well. No huge mishaps, well perhaps one where a nice gentleman got the VERY wrong impression and asked me out on a date type meeting and proclaimed to another coach how "HOT" I am. After meeting said gentleman out for a drink ( I had to go to let him down), much to my superise and annoyance, he was drunk, very, very, drunk and touching me and flirting and making me very uncomfortable. I am not sure what part of, "All I want to do is drink a beer and talk as friends." gives the wrong impression. I even told him I was dating someone and it still didn't quit. So after I left his side at the bar, and started chatting with other Mankato peeps, he came over and invaded our table. (I was not impressed at all) Finally I was able to convince him that I needed to get to bed cause it was an early morning and he insisted on walking me to my room! Ugh, I politly declined a couple of times and finally he left. I waited 5 minues and then headed back to my room so that I could call ChaCha to discuss the situation. Then this morning said gentleman came up to me (my avoidance techniques were off due to lack of sleep and little coffee) to APOLOZIGE for being an asshole. In my true form I said, "Don't apologize, it wasn't a big deal." I was trying to be nice. Then for the next 15 minutes I had to politly decline invatations for drinks for the rest of the week.

Ugh, I guess I don't understand. My only reaction was, damn I am hott and why it is only at nationals when guys want to pick me up? I suppose it is some sort of tradition for me, but this time was utterly annoying and unpleasent.

Other news. I am having so much fun here at NFA. The team has gone crazy. I think that I have almost peed my pants from laughing at least 6 time. Other than it taking 5 hours to get here because we were stuck in traffic in the cities for about 2 hours, everything is wonderful and I know that we will do well. Yea. Okay I need to go and do something else not.

Stressed Excitement!

I forgot how much I hate packing for 4N6 tournaments. All season it hasn't been bad because I can wear jeans and a sweater and it is okay, but for NFA i have to wear real clothes. And I don't have that many real clothes so this whole packing things has been stressing me out! In other news, I am SO EXCITED to judge at a national tournament! AND i am so excited for my team, they are going to ROCK the HOUSE! I can't wait!! AHHH So much to do, so little time, so excited! Ahh. Okay, I need to go to school to coach and for a dept. meeting, then home to get stuff done, laundry, packing, writing a paper, etc. And I need to clean becuase Nadene is going to watch Bella while I am gone, UGH. No Time.

Tuesday!

Welcome to the last day of my school week! Yea! I have so much to do before I can even think of leaving for NFA and we leave on Thursday! I am so excited. I can't belive that I am up at 9:30 am and in this good of a mood. It feels a little strange. I think that it is because I went to sleep dreaming of Blue OCtober and woke up to them as well. Beautiful new C.D. I love, love, love, it. Char is a little jelous of my love for Blue October, she hasn't said anything specifically but I can tell that when I shush her becuase Justin is trying to serinade me, it makes her upset. ChaCha, I promise in like 2 months I will not be so obsessed. But until then we have to work together....we can make it through this, I promise, times 3.
Okay, in other news, today is the showcase for the team, I am pretty stoked about it. (Does anyone even say stoked anymore?) It will be good to see everyone perform. I am totally wearing capri pants and sandles today because it is going to be 75, I LOVE IT! I absolutly love springtime. Unfortunatly the nice weather makes me unmotivated to do school so that sucks a little.

Anyways, iPod is done updating,and I need to get to school. I will write again soon.

Really quickly. Things are good. Everthing is working out. Stress with school but not too much. Have to go back to cities cause I forgot my flat iron and we leave for NFA on thrusday, thus no time to get it again before we leave. Okay, have to go.

4)watched The Wedding Planner (at the same time as American Wedding)
5)reheated dinner from last night
6)set off the smoke alarm in my apartment twice
7)took a shower at 9pm
8)reminised my freshman year at HC with a couple of bottles of Boon's Farm
9)laughed at myself for buying Boon's Farm (hey, it was only like 6 bucks for 3 bottles)
10)laughed at Jezi-Bell
11)crawled into bed thinking that I wanted to go to sleep
12)realized that I didn't want to sleep I wanted to finish #8
13)wrote another blog entry for the day while working on #8
14)contimplated going to the cities to suprise someone
15)realized this was a bad idea because I have stuff I HAVE to do tomorrow
16)wanted to go anyway but am still convincing myself that it is bad thus #8
17)wished that bestfrienda wasn't in Flordia so that I could call him to chat
18)reminised about all of my years at AFA, including the AFA I don't like to talk about

Spring is here, I think...

So I think that spring has arrived in the Northland, although I am not really sure. It has been beautiful here, even if it is a little rainy. I love days where I wake up to the rain beating on my window. I like to curl up in my covers and just listen, think about life, just be. I had a morning like that today. It was beautiful.

Life here has been pretty uneventful. Lots of coaching as the kids got ready for AFA. I hate not being with them. I did get to drive them to the airport though, so that was good. Did a little shopping at MOA after leaving them. Didn't buy anything, just a good window shopping day.

Got quals back, did well. Happy about that. School is going okay. I feel like I am stuck in my research project and am not really sure how to get out of it. It sucks a little.

Really missing my friends back home lately. I miss fun Holly. I feel like she is lost right now. I feel old. I am only 23 and I spend 5 days a week hanging out at home with my cat. Occasional I get a call to do something but that is rare. It sucks a bit.

Trying to find a job. I hate the search. I wish I would know if I have an assistantship next year so that I can try to plan my next step. Not really sure what to do at this point. Just rollin' with it I suppose. Trying not to let myself think to far ahead and get stressed out and worried. I know that everything will be okay, but not exactly sure how.

Need to do some shopping for NFA. Don't know what to wear. Marathon speeching... Don't know how I feel about it. We'll see.

I must go and do something today. I have lounging all day long. Need to try and be productive.

Thoughts of the day: Do people miss me the way that I miss them? And Why am I always expected to be there for everyone else but then they are not here for me?
